Write inside the pad with a mouse, finger or stylus. Each press starts a new stroke.
How to use this tool
- Step 1Draw your signature in the pad.
- Step 2Choose the ink color and stroke width.
- Step 3Download vector SVG or transparent PNG.
When to use an SVG signature
An SVG signature is useful when the same handwritten mark must appear at several sizes. Its drawn paths stay sharp in a website header, portfolio, presentation or print layout. You can change its display size without making the strokes blurry.
For a document editor that does not accept SVG, download the transparent PNG instead. PNG is often simpler to insert into Word or a PDF workflow, while SVG is easier to scale in compatible design software.
What this vector export contains
The signature to SVG conversion uses the strokes you draw in the pad. Each stroke becomes a path with your selected color and width; the vector signature file does not contain a photograph hidden inside an SVG wrapper. The background remains transparent.
Keep your strokes comfortably inside the drawing area. A smooth, deliberate drawing usually scales better than many tiny overlapping marks. Preview the result at both small and large sizes before using it in a finished design.
SVG and PNG in practical workflows
Use the vector SVG for web graphics, mockups and layouts that may be resized later. Use the transparent PNG for apps that expect an image upload. Some email clients and document editors restrict SVG files, so check the destination before choosing a format.
Questions about svg signatures
Is the SVG truly vector?
Yes. Drawn strokes are exported as SVG paths, not an embedded raster image.
Can I convert a typed font to vector outlines?
This tool exports your drawn strokes as vectors. Typed font outlines are not currently available.
Can I edit the SVG later?
You can open the exported paths in design software that supports SVG, although editing controls vary by app.
Does the file have a background?
No. Both the SVG and PNG exports have a transparent background.
Use your signature image
Insert a downloaded image using your document or design editor. These tools create images; they do not verify identity or issue digital signing certificates.
