Typed handwriting or your own strokes?
Choose Type when you want a quick handwritten signature style that you can revise by editing the text. The selected font controls the letterforms; color, size and rotation change the image you export. Compare several fonts with your actual name, because a style that looks good in a sample may handle your initials differently.
Choose Draw when you want the mark to follow your own hand movement. A mouse, finger or stylus can create strokes, and Undo removes the most recent one. Download a transparent PNG for placing over a document background. An image-based SVG export is not the same as editable vector strokes; use the dedicated SVG drawing tool when you need paths.
Questions about handwritten signatures
Can I draw on a phone?
Yes. Use the Draw tab and write inside the canvas with a finger or stylus. Undo removes the last stroke; Clear drawing removes all strokes.
Is this my original handwriting?
Draw records your own strokes. Type renders your name using a handwriting font, so it is a style preview rather than a reproduction of your handwriting.
