Fancy Signature Generator

Create an ornate signature with an elegant font and an optional flourish from the existing decoration collection. The preview shows the combined design, and exports preserve the transparent background.

This free browser tool creates a signature image or related design file. Check the preview and the downloaded result before using it.

Up to 160 characters are used in the signature.

PNG is transparent; JPG has a white background. SVG embeds a PNG image, not vector paths. PDF creates a new file containing the image. Names are rendered in your browser.

How to use this tool

  1. Step 1Enter a name and choose an elegant script.
  2. Step 2Try a flourish and adjust the font size and angle.
  3. Step 3Save the combined signature as PNG, JPG, image SVG or PDF.

Balance decorative detail with clarity

Fancy signature fonts can add long entry strokes and loops to a name. The optional flourish is a separate design choice, so test the composition with and without it. Keep the mark inside the preview area and look at the result at the actual size of a letterhead, invitation or email footer.

A transparent PNG works well when you need to place the mark over another design. The SVG option for typed signatures contains a rendered image rather than editable font outlines. If you need scalable vector paths from your own drawing, use the SVG signature tool instead of assuming every file with an SVG extension is a path-based graphic.

Questions about fancy signatures

Can I remove a flourish?

Yes. Choose None in the decoration selector. The exported image follows the preview and includes only the currently selected decoration.

Why use fewer decorations?

Large flourishes can reduce readability when a signature is placed in a small field. Compare the preview without a flourish before choosing the final design.

Use your signature image

Insert a downloaded image using your document or design editor. These tools create images; they do not verify identity or issue digital signing certificates.
